Mio is in the filing room, busily matching receipts and invoices to POs and checking them off on some sort of list. Her previous annoyance at this project has been replaced by a fierce determination to make everything is done properly and efficiently.

"No, not like that. You're just projecting walls now. Like this." Nagi pokes in her mind and gives her the information. The problem with sixth senses is that normal language just doesn't describe them very well.

Mio bites down on the urge to say "Well how was I supposed to know, with useless directions like that?" She is not going to be rude to Naoe-shacho.

Mio also objects to her mind being poked around in, so she immediately uses the information Nagi gave her to raise shields of her own. How much had he been reading her mind without knowing, before?

"Good. Practice that until you don't have to think about holding it." And now maybe Nagi can get some work done without having to block her out all the time.

Mio nods. "Is there anything else?" She really doesn't want to be wasting the company's time with this sort of thing while she's on the clock.

"Not at the moment. Master that. Oh, and don't be surprised if you're more hungry than usual. It hits some people that way. Just eat more, unless you're trying to diet or something stupid like that."

Mio blinks. She wonders if this powers thing is why she was so completely ravenous yesterday.

"If there is nothing else, I will be getting back to work now." Mio turns her attention back to the files in front of her and her shields begin to falter right away.
