May. 7th, 2010 12:58 pmThis is Mio Hongo of Torchwood Chicago. If you haven't seen the news yet, there's been a major Rift event this afternoon, at approximately 12 pm. The Conrad has been destroyed by a newly opened rift.
IF YOU ARE TRAPPED
Please respond here with whether or not you are injured, and an approximate location of where you are, if you know, so rescuers can better find you. If there are other people in your vicinity that are unable to respond to this entry, please update us with your status as well.
IF YOU ARE A RESIDENT OF THE CONRAD, BUT NOT TRAPPED
Please respond here as well stating you are all right so we know not to try to look for you.
WE NEED ALL THE RESCUE VOLUNTEERS WE CAN GET. If you can fight, bring weapons. There are a large number of monsters pouring out of the newly opened Rift. We also badly need medical personnel and those who can shift rubble. Please report to the nearest Torchwood Chicago member when you get to the scene and we will give you a job. Your help is greatly appreciated.
