I was thinking about having Torchwood host a welcoming dinner for the new residents on Monday night.  It would give the new residents an opportunity to meet the members of Torchwood, and vice versa.

It would also be a good opportunity to get everyone in one place so I can start assigning things like cleaning duties.  With over thirty people living in the Kashtta now, common areas will get messy very quickly if we aren't proactive about such things.

What do you think?

I don't think it's a bad idea. I think Owen may try to poison you if you insist he attend, though.

Assignation of duties is something I'd like to avoid, if at all possible. If it comes down to it we can hire a custodian; I don't want anything implying that we're going to exert authority over these peoples' lives. Something as simple as "pick up your area" might not mean much on the grand scales, but when it comes to symbolics, there doesn't seem to be a minimum threshold.
