Definitely.

Chicago, finding itself in the current state that it does, has slowed us down a bit.

We are in no way, however, deterred. If all goes according to plan the club opens in three weeks. The job is there if you want it.

The recent rift event has thrown a lot of people's plans for a loop, I think.

Speaking of the recent rift event, a large portion of Torchwood was taken. They want to recruit me to bring the team back up to strength. I would still be able to take this job, but I would need to be on call for them in the event of any sort of Rift emergency. Would that be a problem?

That's putting it mildly. I hope none of your loved ones were taken in this recent rift...activity?

If you believe yourself to be capable to handle both--and I personally think you are--then no, there's no problem.

Thankfully, no one I was particularly close to were taken, but my lodgings have emptied out quite a bit. It bears an uncanny resemblance to a ghost town now.

Hopefully, no Rift emergencies will occur during business hours. They tend to be bad for business, especially considering the clientele you're catering to.

That's what I've heard around the grapevine. It's Chicago, though. The city has the uncanny ability to pull itself back from the brink time and again.

Trust, Ms. Hongo, that should anything come to pass, I've always got a backup plan.

Given some of the things I've read about Chicago's recent history, I'm surprised the city is still standing, frankly. The residents here must all be experts in tenacity by now.

Oh, I'm sure you have a backup plan. The best part is when you don't need to use them, though.

That's what I'm thinking. The Rift likes its culling, but that just means those that are left? Are forces to be reckoned with.

I wouldn't be too sure. I'm a fan of a challenge. Keeps things interesting, at the very least.

And please, call me Josef, unless you'd really rather stick to Mr. Soltini.
