Thankfully, no one I was particularly close to were taken, but my lodgings have emptied out quite a bit. It bears an uncanny resemblance to a ghost town now.
Hopefully, no Rift emergencies will occur during business hours. They tend to be bad for business, especially considering the clientele you're catering to.
Given some of the things I've read about Chicago's recent history, I'm surprised the city is still standing, frankly. The residents here must all be experts in tenacity by now.
Oh, I'm sure you have a backup plan. The best part is when you don't need to use them, though.
